Cancer Research

Theme: Innovations and Applications in Cancer Research

Webinar on Cancer Research will be hosted on August 25, 2021 in Paris, France. Panel of speakers will be delivering their presentations on their recent research related to Cancer Research. Current state of knowledge, its impact on future will be discussed in detailed. Meetings International invites all experts to be part this webinar series and make it a perfect platform for knowledge sharing and networking.

Session 01: Trends in Cancer Research

Cancer research ranges from epidemiology, molecular bioscience to the performance of clinical tribulations to evaluate and compare applications of the sundry cancer treatments. These applications include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, immunotherapy and coalesced treatment modalities such as chemo-radiotherapy. Starting in the mid-1990s, the accentuation in clinical cancer research shifted towards therapies derived from biotechnology research, such as cancer immunotherapy and gene therapy.

Session 02:  Cancer Biomarkers

On sodality with the mutations these markers offer a quantitative way to determine when an individual is predisposed to a particular type of cancer. Mutations of genes like BRCA1 and BRCA2 are advanced breast cancer biomarkers, and mutations on genes like KRAS, p53, EGFR, erbB2 are utilized for colorectal, oesophageal, liver, and pancreatic cancer. Each biomarker identified or introduced should be studied in detail to ken its exact role in the field of caner.

Session 03:  Anti-Cancer Drug Discovery and Development

Role of drugs to treat cancer involves clinical aspects at an experimental as well as clinical level. Scientists have to establish experimental models and target oriented approaches to acclimate to the transmutations in drug development. Daily researches are done on this just to preserve people from such disease. The things to be kept in mind while doing the research are cancer drug targets, the molecular study of cancer, biochemical pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics.

Session 04:  Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy has been found to be a prosperous method for treating cancer but not in all cases. In some cases, it may even cause death. Its efficacy depends upon the type and stage of cancer along with the physical fitness of an individual. For more efficacious results, it is sometimes coalesced with other therapies or treatments.

Session 05: Cancer and Tumour Immunology

Cancer immunology shows the relationship between the immune system and the progression of cancer. The Rudimental mechanism of the immune system as it relates to cancer has been incrementing expeditiously. Albeit there is ample evidence for anti-tumour immune reactivity in humans, evidence for immunity against malignancy comes mostly from experimental studies with animals to avert the progression of neoplastic tissue, the immune system identifies the transformed cells which is called Cancer immune surveilance. According to the Immune Surveillance Theory, cancer cells that arise in the body are eliminated by the immune system. However, due to impaired immune reactivity, cancer cells may escape eradication. This particular scientific session of the Breast Cancer Conference shall highlight immune therapy cognate to tumors.
