Biography:

Aditya Shahaji Favade is passionate dermatologist & cosmetologist In Maharashtra, India. With his basic qualification of BAMS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, India in the year of 2014 later received his Post Graduate degree D. Dermatology (Ay.) from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, India in 2016. He currently has his own clinic named “Amogh Skin & Hair Clinic” In Sangamner, India. He is also member of Institute of Laser & Aesthetic Medicine, National Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Aesthetic & Health Rejuvenation and Reviewer Board Member of Indian Journal of Clinical and Experimental Dermatology.

Abstract

Vitiligo is the most common cause of depigmentation. The paramedical micropigmentation, is responsible for the restoration of areola, scars, and scalp. Here techniques and results of vitiligo micropigmentation are discussed. The paramedical camouflage is obtained through a tattoo using bioresorbable or definitive colors. This technique allows to solve difficult clinical situations, which have not improved with medical or surgical treatments and causing important psychological problems to the patient. At least 3 sessions are required to achieve a good homogeneity of the implanted color.
