Singapore is also known as the Lion City or the city of Little Red dot in South East Asia, this city is the only island city state of the world. It is in the Indian Ocean off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. The island nation of the Republic of Singapore lies one degree north of the Equator in Southern Asia. It is the most modern city in Southeast Asia and has a tropical rainforest climate with no distinctive seasons. The temperatures usually range from 22-35 °C (72 to 95 °F).

This city is a global finance, commerce as well as transportation hub. Two nature preserves are situated at the north of the city, Bukit Timah and the Central Catchment Area, along with the splendid Singapore Zoological Gardens. The east coast features good seafood restaurants set on long stretches of sandy beach.
