Why USA:
The number of veterinarians in the United States is inadequate to meet societal needs in biomedical research and public health. Areas of greatest need include translational medical research, veterinary pathology, laboratory-animal medicine, emerging infectious diseases, public health, academic medicine, and production-animal medicine. The European Veterinary Healthcare Market was worth $8.37 billion in 2016 and estimated to be growing at a CAGR of 6.4%, to reach $11.41 billion by 2021.
